1. Niobium powder for metallurgy
Niobium powder is generally made by powder metallurgy method, and its appearance is dark gray, which is used for processing raw materials and producing welding electrodes. According to the different requirements of products, niobium powder is divided into fnb-1, fnb-2 and fnb-3. Fnb-1 and fnb-2 niobium powder shall pass through 150um (100 mesh) sieve, and fnb-3 niobium powder shall pass through 180um (80 mesh) sieve.
2. Niobium zirconium alloy
An alloy consisting of zirconium added to niobium. Zirconium mainly exists as solid solution in niobium alloy. When there is a small amount of carbon and carbon or a small amount of carbon is added, a small amount of carbide and oxide are dispersed and precipitated. Therefore, niobium zirconium makes the alloy have high strength, good plastic processing performance, good oxygen resistance and alkali metal corrosion resistance.
3. Niobium pentoxide
Niobium oxide obtained by liquid-liquid extraction is white or light yellow powder, which can be used to produce niobium powder, niobium bar and ceramic capacitor.  According to the use requirements and different chemical composition, the products are divided into fnb2o5-1, fnb2o5-2 and fnb2o5-3.
4. tantalum and niobium

It makes sense to introduce them together, because they are of the same family in the periodic table of elements, have similar physical and chemical properties, and are often "inseparable". They are really a pair of lifelike "twin brothers" when they are associated in nature. In fact, when niobium and tantalum were first discovered in the early 19th century, they were thought to be the same element. About forty-two years later, they were separated by chemical methods for the first time, which made it clear that they were two different metals. Niobium and tantalum are rare and high melting point metals like tungsten and molybdenum. Their properties and applications are similar.
Since it is known as a rare high melting point metal, the main characteristic of niobium and tantalum is, of course, heat resistance. Their melting points are as high as 2400 degrees Celsius and nearly 3000 degrees Celsius, not to mention that the general fire can't burn them, even the sea of flames in the steel furnace. No wonder in some departments with high temperature and high heat, especially in the manufacturing of vacuum furnaces with a capacity of more than 1600 Baidu, tantalum is a very suitable material.
The excellent properties of one metal can often be "transplanted" into another metal. When niobium is added to the steel, the high temperature strength and processability of the steel can be improved. Niobium and tantalum cooperate with a series of metals such as tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, nickel, cobalt, etc. to obtain "heat strength alloy", which can be used as structural materials for supersonic jet aircraft, rockets, missiles, etc. In the development of new high-temperature structural materials, scientists have begun to turn their attention to niobium and tantalum; many high-temperature and high-strength alloys have the twin brothers.
Niobium and tantalum are very tenacious, and their carbides are more resistant, which is no different from tungsten and molybdenum. The cemented carbides made of Nb and Ta have high strength, compression resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Of all the hard compounds, the hardness of tantalum carbide is higher. The tool made of tantalum carbide can withstand the high temperature below 380baidu, its hardness can match with diamond, and its service life is longer than that of tungsten carbide.
